Why is it everytime the stock market drops, must we be treated to pictures [on Yahoo!] of investors holding their heads in anguish?

Are we supposed to feel bad for them?

The Dark Knight!!!

I'm not going to reiterate what's being said about Chris Nolan's new Batman film, "The Dark Knight". Just this:

Years ago, I made a post on the Internet Movie Database regarding the new film "The Fellowship of the Ring". I titled the post "Great, but not the second coming of cinema."

Well....

I have seen the second coming of cinema, and it is "The Dark Knight"

Amazing, absolutely amazing. That is all.

New Brian Wilson Album!!!!!

Happy day for me!!

Capitol records has announced that Brian Wilson will release a new album, titled "This Lucky Sun" on September 2nd, 2008.

Brian is a major influence in my life, musically. I adore his work, both with the Beach Boys and with his current touring group. I think that "Smile", released in 2004, was as good an album as Sgt. Pepper. I've recently been listening to the album again and it's just as good now as it was in 2004.

This current album, which Brian describes as postcards from all over LA, was collaborated on by Briand and lyricist, Van Dyke Parks, who also did lyrics for "Smile."

Can't wait. This album should be amazing!!
